Our Comprehensive Testing Approach
Initial Consultation
We'll begin with a detailed conversation about your symptoms, health history, and goals. During this session, I'll arrange for an MRT kit to be mailed directly to you.
Testing
Next, you'll get a blood draw, and your sample will be tested for reactive foods.
Results Review
In about 7-10 days, we'll review the findings together. Your test results will guide the development of a personalized protocol (LEAP) where we temporarily eliminate certain foods to reduce inflammation and alleviate symptoms. This is the immunocalm phase – calming the system down.
Personalized Protocol
Over the next 3-6 months, you'll be guided to gradually reintroduce foods while paying attention to your body's responses. I'll work with you to develop new recipes, menu items, and go-to options that keep inflammation down.
Throughout this journey, you'll learn to listen to your body, reduce inflammatory reactions, and adopt long-term, non-restrictive eating patterns that support your health.
Our approach is key! Food sensitivity testing is a tool for better understanding your body, not a rigid dietary framework. A common pitfall for those doing DIY testing or eliminating foods on their own is ending up with food restrictions, food fears, and an ever-shrinking list of foods they tolerate.
